All Dusty Trades Truly Done
Drywall sanding, tile cutting, wood sanding, and grinding must be finished — not "finishing up tomorrow." One trade pass through a finished space re-dusts every horizontal surface in it. If punch work is unavoidable after the clean, that's what the pre-turnover polish phase is for; plan it rather than burning the final clean twice.
Water and Power On
A final clean without running water and working outlets isn't a final clean. Crews need water for mopping and washing, and power for vacuums and floor machines. Confirm both are live — and that restroom fixtures actually drain — before the crew is scheduled.
Protection Off, Debris Out, Punch Stickers Decided
Floor protection, window films, and appliance wrap should be removed (or explicitly assigned to the cleaning scope — either is fine, but decide). Bulk debris and trade materials should be gone so crews clean rather than haul. And agree in advance whether inspection stickers on windows and appliances come off now or stay for the walkthrough.
